My friend Natalie put together these black bean burgers, no soy, very Yummy. she did not give amounts, but basically organic black beans, organic sweet onion, garlic granules, sea salt, potato starch, tapioca starch, and a small amount of almond meal - also some of the spices from the Herb Stop - like Sprinkle & Rub and Anytime Salt Seasoning. This was really good! She also made some killer meatballs - no meat, of course.
If you've clicked on some of the people I follow, you'll see my friend over at Chicos and Beans brings you great recipes...and she has a fashion Friday. My all time favorite fashionista tee - YOU EAT WHAT? - which she hasn't posted yet, is available at Happy Cow, just click on their store link. My other favorite from the same shopping link is -POWERED BY VEGGIES.I'm trying some new recipes this weekend. Let you know how it goes. By the way, you CAN dehydrate hummus - and rehydrate with a little (key here is little) water. Go slowly with the water until it reaches the consistency you want. You can also just use the dehydrated chunk as a sandwich filler - good for a backpack trip.
Eat those veggies - blend, mash, consume - you'll feel better.
